Our Client is a world leading insulation material manufacturer and maintains large warehouses where forklifts move merchandise based on a telematic application running on Android tablets. They deployed SD-WAN Pro to bond connectivity from their WiFi infrastructure with cellular LTE. By bonding these two internet sources under a single static IPv4 we achieved 100% uptime with full in-house control.
Support for LTE and WiFi links
The custom built SD-WAN Pro hardware integrates an internal LTE modem and a WiFi module, to support both a cellular connection and a WiFi connection via the available access points.
Universal solution on a global scale
Our client maintains similar warehouses around the world where the SD-WAN Pro solution is deployed using different local internet carriers. The SD- WAN Pro solution offers multiple service Points of Presence (PoPs) around the world to minimize latency and offer regional IP addresses to cater to local compliance requirements.
Portable solution
SD-WAN Pro can be provided along with a 16000mAh battery pack to allow it to operate for 6 hours without an external power source.
Ultra Small factor / custom-built Hardware appliance
The available space on the forklifts for mounting the connectivity devices is very small. Therefore, the SD-WAN Pro models that are deployed are ultra-small appliances that fit within a QuSpot antenna, enabling optimal WiFi and LTE signal reception as well as IP67 ingress protection.
